Adrian's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Adrian Goodwin.

Adrian Alexander "A-One" Goodwin passed away on July 24, 2018. Hewas born on December 1st, 1984 in El Dorado, AR. to Brenda S. Henry and Carl A. Newton. Adrian was a loving father, son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend.
Adrian had a lot of love for people and never met a stranger wherever he went. He was very charismatic and charming, with the ability to bring a smile to anyone’s face. When you needed a laugh he was definitely someone to be around. Adrian was loved by many, practically everyone knew “A-1”. He was thoughtful and forgiving no matter what the situation between you and him was. Adrian had a heart of gold, his loyalty would never let him turn his back on you in a time of need.
Adrian is preceded in life by his Maternal Grandparents, Grover Pratt and Ella Ruth Dixon; Paternal Grandfather, Carlton Newton.
Adrian leaves to cherish his loving memory, his Mother, Brenda S. Henry of Fort Smith, AR. and father, Carl A. Newton of El Dorado, AR; two sons, Jamarrion Z. A. Goodwin of Fort Smith, AR. and Donovan Lopez of Rodgers, AR.; three daughters, Kha Madri D. Goodwin, Nevaeh B. Johnson Cleary and Anai E. Franklin, all of Fort Smith, AR.; five brothers, Gabriel N. Lewis and Zachery B. Henry of Fort Smith, AR., Korey Newton of Des Moines, IA., Cornelius Newton of San Francisco, CA. and Kerry Newton of Denton, TX.; Three sisters, Kizzie N. Lewis of Fort Smith, AR., Terri Newton of Monroe, LA. and Delecia Newton of Des Moines, IA.; also many other family members and dearly loved friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 from 5:00-6:00pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary.
Celebration of life will be held Friday, August 3rd, 2018, 11:00am at St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 4916 High Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Gravel Hill Cemetery, Russellville, Arkansas.
