Samuel's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Samuel Christopher Rashan Morris.

Samuel Christopher RaShon Morris, Sr. was born August 18, 1991 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Marla Jan Morris. “Sam”, as he was affectionately known, was educated through the Fort Smith Public School District. Sam was always rapping, smiling, and making jokes. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his three children and his “Granny Boo” Dorothy.
On Saturday October 13, 2018 Samuel left his earthly dwelling for his heavenly home, joining his favorite uncle, Robert Jr., cousins Darius and Amaryian, and great-grandparents James and Alean Nelson.
Samuel leaves to cherish his precious memory, his mother Marla Morris step-fathers, Gumersindo “Pop” Monterrey and Carl Campbell, all of Fort Smith, Arkansas; brothers, Jeremiah Joshua Morris of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Jevoris Campbell of Fort Smith Arkansas; sisters Meshia Morris of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two sons, Se’Drale Antoine Morris and Samuel Christopher RaShon Morris, Jr. both of Fort Smith, Arkansas; daughter, Se’Dreah Antoinette Morris of Fort Smith, Arkansas; grandmother, Dorothy Morris and grandfather, Harce Darty both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; nephew, Tyreal Richardson, Jr. of Fort Smith, Arkansas; niece, Ariane Imani Morris of Tulsa, Oklahoma; baby cousin, Ambryian D. Martin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; aunt, JacQueline (Andre) Morris-Martin of Tulsa, Oklahoma; great aunts, Jerline (David) Lewis and Pearlie (Roberto) Vega all of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Winnie Faye Stewart of Dallas, Texas, Gloria Armstrong of Wellington, Texas; great-great aunt, Naomi Henderson of Brookston, Texas as well a host of other relatives, cousins, and friends.
Public visitation will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 from 6pm-7pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary, 611 N. 9th Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 27, 2018, 11:00am at New Life Church of God in Christ, 1801 North Greenwood Ave., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Washington Cemetery, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
