Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Robert Butler, 56, of Poteau, Oklahoma, son of the late Ruben and Sue Butler died on Saturday, March 30, 2019. He is preceded in death by his brother, Roger Nelson.
Robert accepted Christ at an early age and he attended New Beginning Family Ministry in Poteau, Oklahoma. He attended the Poteau Public Schools.
Robert had a big heart, and he was a loving person. He was very supportive and protective of his family until his health failed him and he dearly loved his dog.
Robert leaves to cherish his loving memories, one brother, Eugene Butler of Lagrange, Kentucky; two sisters, Terri Gallegly and Becky James both of Poteau, Oklahoma, and a host of aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
