In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Owens Family. Brandon's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Brandon Owens.

Brandon Owens, aged 37, passed away in a car accident on August 4, 2024, in Van Buren, Arkansas.  He was born on January 28, 1987, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Albert Owens and Nancy Holland.  He was a resident of Crawford County and was a 2005 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School.  He was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked in a local factory at the time of his death.

Brandon  married Heather Lemus on August 11, 2018 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  He loved his family and enjoyed the time that he got to spend with them and enjoyed visiting his family back in Wisconsin, when he could. He loved body building and fitness. He was very outgoing and loved exploring and going on adventures. Brandon was liked by all he met and always had the ability to make anyone smile. He loved country music and had an entrepreneurial spirit. He was the proud Stepdad to Chance Golden and Aaliyah Lemus.

Brandon will be greatly missed by his numerous friends in the River Valley and around the United States. 

 

Brandon is survived by his wife, Heather; his parents: Albert Owens of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  His Mother: Nancy Holland of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  Four (4) sisters:  Courtney Holland and Taylor Webb, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Erin (Eric) Stephens and Camille Webb, both of Bellville, Illinois.  One (1) brother:  Ian Jeffery Webb of Bellville, Illinois. His maternal grandmother: Anna Holland of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Stephanie Webb and maternal grandfather, Charles Holland.

 

Family and friends are invited to the Celebration of Brandon's Life to be held at Midland Heights Church 3500 North 6th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas on Thursday August 29, 2024, at 6:00 PM followed by a meal at the church. Additional Service and Interment to be followed up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at a later date.


Flowers and memorial donations can be sent to Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas now through August 29, 2024; to reminisce and honor the life of Brandon.
