Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Our beloved son, father, brother, and uncle, Deon LaTray Clark, Jr. affectionately know by family and close friends at "Pikachu" passed away on February 11, 2021. He was born on June 19, 2000 to Toquata McGee and Deon Clark, Sr.
Deon attended Awana Missionary as a young child where he was awarded many ribbons, learned scriptures and participated in many activities. Deon graduated from Stuttgart High School with the class on 2018. He enjoyed music, being a father, singing country music in the car out loud with his sister, brother, and mother, sport, playing the PlayStation for hours, making jokes, making videos with his babygirl "Cupcake", but most of all, he loved family & friends. His favorite gospel song was "He saw the best in me" by Marvin Sapp. Closeness and togetherness was instilled in him by is parents.
Deon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Calvin Robinson; great grandparents, George & Retha McGee, Seal & Sadie Robinson, Presley Oates, Susie Timmon, Vernon Whitehead, Frank Clark, and Earnest Sims.
Deon leaves to cherish his loving memory, his mother, Toquata T (Bill) Tappin of Alexander, Arkansas; father, Deon (Kelia) Clark Sr. of Stuttgart, Arkansas; daughter, Kaelani Clark of Stuttgart, Arkansas; his brothers Corlandise Bonds of Des Arc, Arkasnas, De'ontae Clark of Stuttgart, Arkansas; sisters, Asiaiyana Bonds of Des Arc, Arkansas, D'lasia Clark of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Anita Tappin of Little Rock, Arkansas, Portia Settles of Little Rock, Arkansas; special brother, Arion White; special aunt/sister, Calisa Robinson of Batesville, Mississippi; Girlfriend, Keshuna Jones of Stuttgart, Arkansas; grandparents, Sylvester and Shirley Holloway of Des Arc, Arkansas, Karey Johnson of Stuttgart, Arkansas; great grandfather, Wilson Timmon of Stuttgart, Arkansas and a host of other family members and friends.
Family and friends walk through visitation will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Holy Benton Temple Church of God In Christ, 1210 N. Maple St., Stuttgart, Arkansas, 72160.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2021, 11:00am at Holy Benton Temple Church of God In Christ, 1210 N. Maple Street, Stuttgart, Arkansas 72160.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Liberty Cemetery, Stuttgart, Arkansas.
