In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Price family. Doris’ earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Doris Ann Price.

Doris Ann Price was a blessing from God given to the late Marion and Ardine (Jackson) Price on Friday, April 4, 1958. She was called to take her eternal rest on Friday, March 26, 2021. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Larry Eugene Price.

Doris attended the public schools in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She united with New Covenant International Christian Center. She worked at Sparks Hospital (now Baptist Health) for many years. After retirement, she became a nanny to her grandchildren. Doris was a giver in life and she truly loved taking care of her family. Doris always wore a smile on her face.

Doris will be forever remembered and cherished by her six children, Delicia Wilson of Milwaukee, Trina Price, Malia Mcmillon, Anthonitte Greene, Alejandro Galvez and Raven Price all five of Fort Smith, Arkansas; six siblings, Diane Jackson of Kansas City, Missouri, Marion Price, Jr., Mary Frances Sanders, Nathaniel Price, Sammy Price and Beverly (Glenn) Releford all five of Fort Smith, Arkansas; sixteen grandchildren; Elexis, Shaquille, Chedarryuan, Raekwon, Jayvon, Bryonna, Breajah, Maggie, Jeremiah, Joshlynn, Tydarrius, Tamara, Gragory, Michael, Shawnn, and Chris, seven great-grandchildren; five nephews, DeWayne Zeffer, Anthony Price, Xavier Zeffer, Keno Price and Rafer Arnold, other family members, and friends.


Visitation will be Friday, April 2, 2021 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.


Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 1 p.m. at New Covenant International Christian Center 4400 North N Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.


Committal service and final resting place will be at the Washington Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
