Elizabeth's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Elizabeth “Liz” Charlene Robinson, 78, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, transitioned peacefully on October 26, 2024. She was born on September 11, 1946, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Charles A. Holt and Lula Bell Walker.
She was an active and devout member of First Church of God in Christ located on North 14th Street under Elder Everett L. Rainey and his wife, Cynthia Rainey.
Liz is survived by her husband of 54 years, George Clint Robinson; her children, Rukiya Robinson, Clint Talib Robinson, and Taliah Robinson; her grandchildren, Akili, Akeeya, Darian, Isaiah, Destiny, Dajaun, Andrew, and additional grandchildren, ten in total; her great-grandchild, Zaia Noelle; and her sisters, Carolyn Henderson (Lodiawick “Sonny” Henderson) and Doris Grant.
Walk through viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday November 14, 2024, from 9:00am to 6:00pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
Celebration of life service will be held Friday November 15, 2024, 11:00am at First Church of God in Christ 2037 North 14th St., Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Fort Smith National Cemetery 522 Garland Ave., Fort Smith, AR. 72901.
My Aunt Sissy will be greatly missed by all of her nieces and nephew. Aunt Sissy was my Dad’s Sister, the late Alvin Bradley Sr, I spent a lot of time with my Aunt, which she enjoyed. So RIP well Auntie Love Mechelle, LaDonna, Diana and Keith we loved you Dearly
My family and I send our sincere,most heartfelt condolences to the entire Robinson family, and all pf my beloved relatives who will be most deeply impacted by the loss of my Auntie Sissy..While your lives will undoubtedly never be the same without her physical presence, I pray that the lifetime of precious memories you shared with her bring you comfort and peace in the days to come.
