In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Suggs Family. Floye Mae's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Floye Mae Suggs.

Floye Mae Campbell-Suggs, a beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt and Friend; was born on May 22, 1941, to the late Floyd and Eunice Campbell in Little Rock, Arkansas and departed this world on Sunday October 27, 2024, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. 


Floye was a Jehovah’s Witness in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  She was very strong in her faith and loved Jehovah with all of her heart.  Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of many; following the loss of her parents, her brother: Jackie her sisters: Barbara and Carolyn, and her grandson: Archie.


Her favorite things were Birds, Yellow Roses, Animals, her children and family. Her departure will be a great loss to her family and her friends.


Floye is survived by a loving family, including her three (3) children: Son; Alvin and is wife Penny.  Daughters; Shirley and Diane.  She had five (5) grandchildren, eighteen (18) great grandchildren and seven (7) great greatgrandchildren; with one on the way.  Along with other family and friends who will all truly miss her.

While we will mourn her passing, let us also celebrate her life.

Rest in peace, Mom. Your journey here might have ended, but your light will always shine brightly in our hearts!

 

A celebration of Floye's life will be held Wednesday November 6, 2024; 11:00am at Rowell-Parish Chapel 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901; where friends and family can come together to honor her memory.
