In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Wells family. Francis’ earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Francis "Bo" Wells.

Francis Eugene Wells, “Bo”, was a blessing to his loving parents Gilroy and Loretta Wells, Sr. on Tuesday, December 4, 1962 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Bo transitioned peacefully to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from Fayetteville, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his father, Gilroy Wells, Sr.; two brothers, William Theodore Wells and Robert James Wells.
Francis attended the public school system in Fort Smith: Howard Elementary, Darby Junior High and Northside High Schools. Bo accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Quinn Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church.
Francis loved to barbecue and spent time fishing. Bo would fish the banks of the Arkansas River and any other body of water with fish. Fun loving, he always thrived to put a smile on the faces of all he came in contact with, especially his nieces and nephews.
Francis will be forever cherished and remembered by his ex-wife, Lisa Wells of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his mother, Loretta Wells and his sister, LaGina Wells both of Van Buren, Arkansas; three brothers; Gerald (Stephanie) Wells of Southaven, Mississippi, Roy (Julie) Wells of Maple Valley, Washington and Gilroy Wells Jr. of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two aunts; Charlene Smith of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Faye Sebastian of Little Rock, Arkansas; three special sisters-in-law; Melvern Wells of San Diego, California, Beverly Wells of Stone Mountain, Georgia and Gwenolyn Wells Jackson of Lake Charles, Louisiana; one brother-in-law; Roosevelt Smith of Fort Smith, Arkansas, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, April 9, 2021 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
