In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Nickles family. Gloria's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Gloria Nickles.

Gloria F. Nickles, 74 years of age, was born June 17, 1950, in Blytheville, Arkansas, to the late Berneace Grady and James Russell Bradford. She went home to join them on October 3, 2024.

Gloria was a loving mother, sister, and friend. She loved camping, the beach, and most of all spending time with her family and friends. She loved meeting new people and could make a friend anywhere she went. She will be remembered dearly by so many. Gloria was retired from the State of Arkansas where she served as a certified Court Reporter although she continued to work as a freelance Court Reporter for many years after. She loved her job and coworkers among many others she worked alongside.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jimmy Bradford, and John Redmond; three sisters, Mary LaVon Moore, LaVena Pilcher and Regina Moser.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory, husband, William “Nick” Nickles of Conway Arkansas; son, Scott Henley (Amber) of Austin, Arkansas; one stepdaughter Latisha Hollis (Brad) of North Little Rock, Arkansas, one stepson Nick Nickles of North Little Rock, Arkansas, three brothers; William “Bill” Bradford of Sherwood, Arkansas, Herbert Bradford of Sherwood, Arkansas, Thomas Bradford of Gosnell, Arkansas, one sister; Willonia Marlene Mikel of Booneville Arkansas, three grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, 10:00am at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 E., Conway, Arkansas 72032.
