In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Tabut family. Jeremiah’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Jeremiah Tabut.

Jeremiah Kipchumba Tabut was a blessing from God given to Albert Tabut and Demetra Jackson on Tuesday, July 2, 2002 in Van Buren, Arkansas. He was called from God to take his eternal rest in the heavenly realm on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Jeremiah accepted Christ as his personal Savior at a young age and was baptized at Mission point Missionary Baptist Church. He was member of the youth choir, and randomly played the drums. He was educated in the Fort Smith and Springdale School Systems, where he played basketball and football. At Kimmons Junior High, he was a part of the band; and he played the trumpet. He graduated from the Fort Smith Future School in 2020, in hopes to play basketball.
Jeremiah loved activities and his hobbies included singing, drawing& Girls Club, where he learned to play football. While at Harvest Time Elementary School, he learned to love the game of basketball. He became an AAU basketball player and continued to play at various parks, churches and gyms. Although basketball was his most passionate sport, he also continued to play football with friends, never losing the love of the game.
In his presence, he showed his genuine love and warm energy. In passing, he leaves behind four siblings that are a piece of him: caring, compassionate, kind-hearted and strong. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.
Jeremiah will always be cherished by his father: Albert Tabut of Springdale, Arkansas; his mother: Demetra Jackson of Fort Smith, Arkansas; his four siblings: Elijah Tabut, Eden Fields both of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Marshawn Tabut and Eliessa Tabut both of Springdale, Arkansas; his grandparents and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, December 10, 2021 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, December 10, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Community Bible Church 9201 Dallas Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72903.
Committal service and final resting place will be at the Washington Cemetery Fort Smith, Arkansas.
