Pastor Kenneth's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Pastor Kenneth Kellybrew, 67, of Dardanelle, AR passed away on Friday August 23 at Dardanelle Regional Hospital. He was born in Little Rock, AR to the late Iris Kellybrew and Oma Lee Robinson Kellybrew. Reverend Kellybrew was a 1976 graduate from Dardanelle High School and attended the University of Centeral AR in Conway, AR.
Pastor Kellybrew enlisted in the Army Reserves in 1982 and would further his military career when he enlisted with the U.S. Navy, and also completed a tour in Iraq. He was employed with International Paper Company for 17 years.
Pastor Kellybrew confessed Christ at an early age and united with Sweet Home Baptist church under the leadership of Reverend Marion Wright in Dardanelle, AR. Pastor Kellybrew was ordained as a Deacon at Pleasant Branch Missionary Baptist church in 1990 under the leadership of Reverend J.R. Raynor. It was in 1993 Pastor Kellybrew accepted his call to ministry and was ordained by Reverend J. R. Raynor. Pastor Kellybrew was installed as Senior Pastor at Unity Missionary Baptist church in 2015 under the leadership of Pastor Lee Darcey.
Pastor Kellybrew was united in marriage to Regina Pierce and to this union there were two children born, Jordan and Kendall Kellybrew.
Preceding him in death were his parents Iris and Oma Lee Kellybrew, his son Kendall, and 6 brothers, Ernest, William, Howard, Ray, Melvin, and Bruce. Grandparents, Melvert Kellybrew, Pearl Thompson, Roy Jasper and Johnnie Moore. One nephew, Wesley Kellybrew.
Remaining to cherish Pastor Kellybrew’ s memory is his son Jordan Kellybrew of Conway, AR, three brothers Iris (Jackie) of Midland, MI, David (Bertha) Russellville, Rev. Charles (Chuck) Kellybrew Maumelle, and 2 sisters Carole Calhoun of Phoenix, AZ, and Queen Kellybrew of Southaven, MS. Two sisters-in-law Mary Kellybrew of Ft. Smith, AR, and Neita Kellybrew of Dardanelle AR. Reverend Kellybrew adopted the following as his grandchildren who he loved and cherished, Tres, Rod Jr., Jayvon, Kynnli, Brexton, Rhealynn, Paisynn, Rowynn, Jacobi, Lux B, Adonis, Milani, and his special friend Ms. Ronda Chaten.
As we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the remarkable life of a man who touched the lives of so many. His legacy will endure through the memories and the stories we share, ensuring that his spirit will live on in our hearts forever. Rest in paradise, Pastor, and brother. You have left an indelible mark on this world, and your memory will be cherished for generations to come.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, September 1, 2024, 2:00pm to 3:00pm at Dardanelle Community Center, 2011 State Hwy 22, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834.
Celebration of life service will be held Sunday, September 1, 2024, 3:00pm at Dardanelle Community Center, 2011 State Hwy 22, Dardanelle, Arkansas 72834.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Dardanelle, Arkansas.
