Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Sister Latonial "Sweet T" Gayel Hayes was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on October 29, 1962 to the late Sis. Ruby Jewel Haynes-Lovelace and Bennie Wesley Hayes Jr. She Confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and united with Trinity Grove Baptist Church. She was a woman with a big heart that was unafraid to speak the truth. She was well known in all of Arkansas, when she walked in a room she held this undeniable presence. She was a brave, beautiful woman who would do anything for her siblings, children and grandchildren. She loved all of her family and her best friend of 40 years Mary Kay Norman. She will definitely be cherished by many and loved by all.
Latonial departed this life on Monday, March 29, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Bennie Wesley Haynes Jr.; her mother, Ruby Jewel Lovelace; her brother, Cedric Agee; her sister, Sharon Hayes and her grandson, Andre Griffen, Jr.
Latonial leaves to cherish her memories, two daughters Khenitra "Nitra" Malone of North Little Rock, Arkansas and Khenisha "Lou" (Jaime) Gonzalez of Maumelle, Arkansas; three sisters, Kimberly McCuien, Donna Hayes, and Bennie Jean Hayes all of Maumelle, Arkansas; one brother Carl (Kea) Lasker of Maumelle, Arkansas; four godchildren, Bryan Keith (Amber) McCuien of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Ricky (Amanda) Lasker of Conway, Arkansas, Terrence Duggar of North Little Rock, Arkasnas, Cedric (Toya) Macon of North Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren; and a host of aunts, nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Walk through visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, April 2, 2021 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
Graveside celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 3, 2021, 1:00pm at Perkins Memorial Park, West Marche, Arkansas.
