Brother Lawrence Edward (LLee, as only he could spell it) Williams Sr. began his earthly journey on March 10, 1951, in Plumerville, Arkansas. He was the second son born to Lee Willie (LW) Williams and Helen Brody Williams. At an early age, he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and became a member of Mt. Carmel MBC under the leadership of Rev. W.S. Thomas. Later, he attended Trinity MBC under the leadership of his son, Pastor Brandon L. Williams. As he was affectionately called LLE. or Buck, he attended school in the Plumerville school system. He was a former Missouri Pacific Railroad and Coca-Cola Bottling Co. employee, and his dedicated service to these organizations and the community will always be remembered.

LLee, a man who loved wearing many different hats and caps, was also a sharp dresser with a love for clothes. His trucks were his pride, always kept clean and shiny. His passion for his grandchildren was evident, even if he rarely called them by their correct names, always bringing laughter to the room. The memory that will linger on in our hearts is the bright smile that they could always bring to his face whenever they encountered each other.

The days of our years are threescore years and ten if, by reason of strength, they are fourscore years (Psalm 90:10). God blessed LLee to witness the love and joy of four generations during his 73 years of life. He was united in holy matrimony to Gracie Black; two children, Brandon L., and Ashley L., were born into this union.

He was preceded in glory by his parents, Lee Willie (LW) and Helen Williams; his paternal grandparents, L Brady and Lila Williams; his maternal grandparents, James and Pearl Lee Brody; his brother, Billy Andrew Williams, and his father and mother-in-law, Herman (Will) and Venora (MaPuddin) Black.

The word of God promises “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto Myself; that where I am, you may be also. John 14:3.

The promise was fulfilled on August 11th, 2024, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his family. LLee answered his call to eternal life, leaving a void that can never be filled. He is survived by his wife, Gracie Williams; Three sons, Lawrence Jr (Mandi) Williams, Plumerville, AR; Rev. Brandon L. (Rachael) Williams, Morrilton, AR; Lance Williams, Morrilton;  and Two daughters, Ashley (Jermaine Payne) Williams, Morrilton, AR., Kim Perry, Conway, AR. Three brothers, Floyd Williams, Lloyd Williams, and Keith Bell Jr. of Plumerville, AR. Five sisters, Navader Williams, Levon (Donnie) Walls, Flora (Edward) Walls, Mary Williams, and Florence Williams of Plumerville, AR. One Aunt, Sara Calvin. Grandchildren: Kalis Donald, Isaiah Williams, Devin Williams, Laterica Canady, Jermarion Payne, Rochelle (Justin) Trice, Charmaine Robinson, Cody Burch, Austin Williams, Joseph Williams, Miranda Williams, and Jameka Brown, Kelcey Perry, Jamar Perry and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends. His life was filled with abundant love and joy; these memories, overflowing with warmth and comfort, will always bring a profound sense of love and happiness to our hearts.
