Mary Louise's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Sister Mary “Mae Mae” Louise Winston -Taylor was born October 2, 1947 to the late Wade and Charlotte Winston, in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She attended Harris High School and worked several jobs in the years after including at Target, and as a entrepreneur in family and home assistance, including baby-sitting several children. In 1983, she married the late Levi Taylor and through this union gained three bonus kids. Mary was baptized at Trinity Grove Baptist Church in Marche, Arkansas and later in life was a member and Usher at Anointed and Appointed Disciples Church under the leadership of her pastor Glen Dale Winston. Mary was a compassionate, kind, and helpful individual, who served her community and her church. She loved traveling, sitting with her family, eating a good meal, and collecting lotions, perfumes, and jewelry.
Mary is preceded in death by her mother and father, Charlotte and Wade Winston; grandparents Alberta and Benny Bonds, Andy and Anna Winston; husband Levi Taylor; brothers Ray Adams, Roosevelt Adams, and Shelby Winston; sisters Dora Sara Adams, Gladys Maltbia, Mallory Cornett, Riola Butts, and Betty Cook.
Mary leaves to cherish her loving memory sisters Patricia Credit, Alberta Winston-Terrell, Joyce Winston-Stubbs (James) Lee Burns (Floyd); brothers Donald Winston (Debra), Glen Dale Winston (Eva); Bonus kids Cynthia Akins (Patrick), Darrell Oates, and Levi Taylor; Mary also leaves behind a special niece, Pamela White. Several friends, nieces, nephews, bonus grandchildren, and cousins will also cherish the memory Mae Mae has left behind.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Anointed and Appointed Disciples Church, 350 Salem Rd., Conway, Arkansas 72034.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024, 11:00am at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 East, Conway, Arkansas 72032.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Sinai Cemetery, Conway, Arkansas.
