On July 23,1999 a star was born to Rodney and Danielle Tennant and we called him Rahzel Lee Tennant, AKA “ Fat Boy,” mommies “ Sweet Wheatie.” Rahzel was a very gifted young man; for every sport he played he received MVP and was the first and only black person to be inducted into the hall of fame in the 7th grade. While playing sports; he was each teams secret weapon; the finisher. He was our love baby in the family. He loved to love, he loved hard, and he loved his family. Rahzel was 22, taken from us on the 22nd of April in the year of 2022, God saw fit to take his soldier home for his work was done. Son, You will forever live in our hearts.
When we lose someone we love we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love that they left behind and together we say,” I love you, Rahzel” and as he always told us, “ I love you more.”
He was proceeded in death by his father, Rodney Lee Tennant ; Grandmothers, Lorraine Veasley Harmon and Costivee Tennant.
Rahzel is survived by his mother, Danielle Tennant; two sisters, Ashlee Hemon, Aniya Tennant; two brothers, Michael Walls, Phalon Tennant; his soulmate, Kendra (Bonquesha) Smith and his step-daughter, Riley Mixon, and a host of other family members, and friends.
