In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Roane family. Tino’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Tino Car 'Vay Roane.

Tino Car'Vay Roane was a blessing from God on May 13, 1985 to Gregory Roane and Tonia (Arnold) Citizen in Fort Smith, AR. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arthur Roane and Ida Mae Roane; his maternal grandfather, Elinor Leroy Arnold Jr.; his uncles, Butch Roane, Sherron Tyrone Arnold, Jimmy Flurry and Elinor Arnold, III; aunts, Valerie Roane and Pat Simpson; and cousin, Carlos “Papa” Garcia.
He accepted Christ as his personal Savior and was baptized at an early age in 1995 under the leadership of Apostle Kenneth Royal, New Horizon Ministries. He graduated from Southside High School in May of 2003. After high school he attended the University of Arkansas – Pine Bluff and later joined the United States Army in August 2005. He married Stacey Steward and to that union 2 sons were born. Tino pursued a modeling career which included modeling for Ralph Lauren Cologne. He also had a small role in the TV show “Empire”. He loved taking pictures and was very photogenic. Tino absolutely loved singing and making people laugh.
Tino will be forever cherished and remembered by his parents: Gregory Kenneth Roane Sr. and Tonia and David Citizen of Fort Smith, Arkansas; his children, Tristan Roane and Trenton Roane of Springdale, Arkansas; his grandmother Mrs. Elinor Leroy Arnold Jr. (Grams), his siblings Gregory Kenneth Roane Jr. and Kenyan Eugene Roane of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Shanice Moore of Kansas City, Missouri, Ta’Nia Citizen McCray (Roger) of Arlington, Texas, Tasia Citizen and Celina Citizen of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one God-Sister Anita Stephensen of Chicago, IL And a host of nieces, a nephew, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Public viewing will be held Friday, October 14, 2022 from 11:00am to 5:00pm with a visitation from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at Rowell-Parish Mortuary.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022, 11:00am at New Covenant International Christian Center, 4400 North N Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Committal service and final resting place will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, 10:00am at Fort Smith National Cemetery, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
