In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Parks family. Tyrone’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Tyrone Parks, Jr.

Tyrone Montez Parks, Jr. was a beautiful blessing to given to Lydia Jones and Tyrone Parks, Sr. on Tuesday, October 31, 1993 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was called to take his eternal rest along with his best friend/cousin: Myreon Lamar Whitifeld on Sunday, November 7, 2021 also from Fort Smith. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother: Doris Jones; his parental grandfather: Sangus Triplett and his cousin: Dion May.

Tyrone was educated in the Fort Smith Public School System: Tillis Elementary, Darby Junior High and Bell Point Center. He loved sports, especially Basketball and Football. The Dallas Cowboys was his favorite football team. He was a smooth dresser who loved to dance.


Tyrone had a beautiful smile and big dimples. He truly loved his children (they were his world), siblings and the rest of his family. He dearly loved his “T-Lady”, better known as Mom. He was an energic and full of life. He was also the life of any party. He loved going to the casino. He will be forever in our hearts. He will be adored and appreciated by all who had the opportunity to have him walk through their lives.


Tyrone will be cherished and remembered by his son: Tayvin; his two daughters: Amaya and Imani Parks; his parents: Tyrone Parks, Sr. and Lydia Jones; his two brothers: Torris and Tumontay Parks all of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three sisters: LaToya and LaNesha Parks both of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Courtney Logan of Osceola, Arkansas; his maternal grandfather: David Jones; his parental grandmother: Leola Triplett; his two bonus children: Isiah and Amirah and a host of other family members and friends.


Visitation will be Friday, November 19, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.


Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 1 p.m. at New Covenant International Christian Center 4400 North N Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.


Committal service and final resting place will be at the Oak Cemetery Fort Smith, Arkansas.
